I miss you everyday. I am incredibly grateful that I had you as a grandpa and I will cherish the countless laughs and memories for the rest of my life. I wish I could just call you and talk about life, hear your corny jokes and send you goofy selfies. Love you more always, Gramps.

I met Jim and Jeanette about 41 years when they lived in Southern California. It was the beginning of a long friendship. Jim and I had both served in the Army Special Forces. We would hang together at the annual Green Beret conventions. Jim was a renown story teller of truth and fiction. He was entertaining and fun to be around. I will miss a good buddy. I know when I cross the river on that last patrol to my final duty station, I will look for all the old geezers standing standing around a campfire with canteen cups in hand, laughing and telling stories. I'm sure Jim will be there smiling and regaling everyone with very tall tales. - De Oppresso Liber.
