Bessie Belle Donovan, 95, of Pleasant View, Colorado passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018. She was born February 27, 1923 in Tryon, Oklahoma to Nathaniel and Lorena (Estes) Barnard. Bessie was a homemaker that lived and farmed at Pleasant View, Colorado until her husband's death in 2002. Bessie was baptized into Christ in the early 1950's at Cortez Church of Christ in Colorado. In 2010, she moved to Lubbock.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Karl Donovan and wife Nellie of Cortez and Raylene Harris of Lubbock; siblings, Cherry Lewis and Jim Barnard and wife Stella; grandchildren, Lisa Deffenbaugh, Laura Deubler, Lana Laker, Amy Nunes, and David Harris; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Bessie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond; and sister, Carrie Lee Imel.
