Helen Knable Obituary

Helen Knable (nee Sachs) passed away at home in Medford Lakes, NJ on Monday, Feb. 9, 2026, just a few weeks after celebrating her 100th birthday with family and friends. A Baltimore, MD native and much later a resident of New Lebanon, NY with her eldest daughter and family, she was the wife of the late Emanuel Knable; beloved mother of Chet (Allyson) Knable, Stacie (Rob) Knable-Crook, and the late Brynn (Don) Padrick; adored grandmother of Rebecca, David (Kim), and Dan Padrick, and Zachary and Eric (Justine) Knable; and loving great-grandmother of Lev, Hana, and Aviv Padrick. Helen was predeceased by parents David and Bessie Sachs, brother Melvin (Rhoda) Sachs, and sister Jenny (Joseph) Caplis.

A private celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Feb. 28, at the Knable family home in Medford Lakes, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Helen's memory be made to the Food Bank of South Jersey, 1501 John Tipton Blvd., Pennsauken, NJ 08110 (www.foodbanksj.org), or a charity of your choice.

I have fond memories of playing at your house as well of memories of all of your family when I was a a very little boy (preschool) with our moms hanging out. I am sorry for your loss.
