Age 92, of Tonawanda, NY, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026, in East Aurora, NY. Born June 25, 1933, in Kenmore, NY, she was the daughter of the late Earl L. and Katherine Viola Stresing. Elly was the beloved wife of C. Robert "Bob" White, with whom she shared 70 years of marriage. She was a devoted mother to Blake R. White (Linda), Keith R. White (Beth), and Kelly W. Orrico (Doug), and a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren and great-grandmother to two. A graduate of Kenmore High School, Elly dedicated her life to her family and home. She was an avid painter, a docent at the Albright-Knox Art Museum, and enjoyed tennis, daily walks, swimming in her pool, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills. In retirement, she and her husband enjoyed spending winters in Florida. Known for her kindness and gentle spirit, Elly was loved by all who knew her. She was predeceased by her parents and brothers, Earl and Donald Stresing. A private celebration of life will be held.
