Rosemary Howard Obituary
Rosemary Winfield Howard, born April 24, 1948, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, died peacefully on January 21, 2026, at the age of 77. She was a dedicated educator, lawyer, and avid tennis player. She is survived by her loving husband, Captain Robert M. Howard, U.S. Navy (Ret.), and their children: Michael Howard (Amanda), David Howard, stepdaughter Sarah Howard (Robert), and granddaughter Kennedy Rose Howard. Her siblings include Ann Dawkins of Temecula, CA; Susan Lance (Skip) of Stratford, CT; Jane Bourdeau of Cheshire, CT; Martha Bodington (Drew) of Stratford, CT; and George Hermann (Janine) of Suffield, CT. Predeceased by sister Kathleen Hermann, she also leaves many nieces and nephews. Visitation is at 1 p.m. on February 3, 2026, at St. Catherine's Catholic Church, Orange Park, FL with funeral to follow. Burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
