Suzanne Elliott Obituary

WATERLOO– Suzanne E. Elliott, age 67, passed away unexpectedly, on May 9, 2024 at Geneva General Hospital.

According to Suzanne's wishes, there will be no calling hours or service, Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Suzanne was born May 27, 1956, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Helen (Zachow) Dane. She worked as a waitress for most of her career making her way up to manager at the Peppermill Restaurant in Cooperstown, retiring in 2011. Suzanne enjoyed crocheting, going to yard sales and gardening and especially enjoyed her family. She also volunteered as a teaching assistant at Skoi Yase School in Waterloo for several years.

Suzanne is survived by her daughters, Januarie (Hunter Olah) VanBlake, Seasonn (Scott) Pepson and Sierra (Zachery Lesterhuis) VanBlake; her brothers, Robert, Tommy (Joette) and Christopher (Jennifer) Dane; ten grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceeded in death by her husband, Herbert Elliott III. in 2004; and her brother Arthur Allen Dane.

I had the pleasure of knowing ma and having lots of good times and laughs with her ..she was sassy and that was the best part of her.. where u seen ma her best friend (zz) was right there with her ..you will forever be missed ..rest easy ma

I was blessed to know Suzanne and to have her as my friend. We spent a lot of hours laughing like teenagers, and the next minute sharing our most precious memories with each other. I miss her so much, and always will. Rest in peace my friend.
