Betty Napier Obituary
BETTY JO NAPIER, 83 years of age of Summersville, passed away Friday March 27,2026 at the Summersville Healthcare Center. She was the daughter of the late Lester J. and Winona E. Carter Haynes and was born at Gauley Bridge, May 8,1942. Betty was a retired registered nurse from St. Mary's Hospital in Huntington with over thirty years of service. She was also preceded in death by her husband William Ronald Napier, Sr., sons William R. Napier, Jr., and Charles Lawrence Napier, brothers James E. Haynes and Benny Haynes.
Surviving: Son Andrew Napier (Tara), Kitts Hill, Ohio; Grandchildren Miranda, Kimber, Kadence, Taylor and Kristen; Sisters Dreama Hellems (Glenn) Gerry Grizzell (Marshall), all of Summersville; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Thursday April 2 in the Waters Funeral Chapel at Summersville with Pastor Arnold Nicholas officiating. Burial will follow at the Forrest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Huntington. Friends may call at the funeral chapel one hour prior to the service on Thursday.

So sorry to see that Betty has passed. We worked together at St. Mary's Medical Center for many years. Prayers go out to the family. Betty was a wonderful nurse and friend.

So many fun memories of us all working together in St. Marys Auxiliary and the many jewelry sales. You and Earl tried to outdo each other on BLING,to see which one could wear the most jewelry. We had lost touch with you but you are not forgotten. Our deepest sympathy to your family. God bless
