Charles Mutters Obituary


CHARLES "CHAS" EDWARD MUTTERS, 75, of Northglenn, CO & recently of Huntington, WV went to be with the Lord at Kernersville State Veteran's Home in Kernersville, NC. He was surrounded by family.
Chas was born in Man, WV to Ballard and Genevieve (Brown) Mutters. He lived his childhood in Man and Apopka, FL before enlisting in the Air Force as an avionics engineer on B52's at K.I. Sawyer AFB, MI during the Vietnam war. Chas settled in Northglenn, CO with his family where he studied at Regis University and worked at IBM for most of his career.
Chas was a deeply devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by daughter Heather A. (Chris) Ott, brother Keith B. Mutters, wife Lexia A. Frasher, Four Grandchildren, Trevor J. (Zandra) Sakach, Robert S. Ott, Roze A. Ott (Tyler), and Hadden A. Ott, Four Great-grandchildren, Liam B., Colt B., Melanie G., and Lainey M. Sakach, as well as many nieces, and nephews - all of whom he loved deeply.
In addition to his parents Chas was preceded in death by Wife Mary C (Meredith) Mutters, Sister Linda, and Brother Mark.
A service will be held at Newcomer Mortuary Lakewood, CO on April 1st. Internment will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver where he will be laid to rest with his first wife, Mary.
