Kansas City, Missouri - Lisa Jeannine Jones, 55, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on January 31, 2026 at her home surrounded by family. She was born to Lynn Richards and Claudine Richards in January 1971. She leaves behind her loving husband Luke, mother Claudine, brother Brent, and her Italian greyhounds Enzo, Boccacio, and Traviatta. She was a brilliant person in every way; smart, beautiful, driven, humble, and loving. Professionally, Lisa was a multimedia developer, creating eLearning courses for adult learners. She was a recognized expert in this field, presenting at multiple industry conferences to share her passion, methods, and insight with others to improve the learner experience. Personally, Lisa had a wide range of interests and hobbies. She was always looking for something new to learn and explore. Her creativity and ability to innovate was inspiring. Lisa project managed her life, taking advantage of every day with a plan of "what are we going to do today". She was taken from this world too soon and will be missed dearly by her husband, friends, and family. We love you Lisa and wish we could hear you say "love you back". A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at the Church of the Resurrection in Leawood.
