Barbara J. Huntington

Barbara J. (Beck) Huntington, born on January 13, 1942, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2025.

Barbara grew up in Mapleton, Oregon on the banks of the Siuslaw River surrounded by extended family. She married her childhood sweetheart, Paul and graduated from Oregon State University. Together, they moved to Longview and built a life rooted in faith, family, and love.

A dedicated homemaker, Barbara raised their two children, volunteering as a Cub Scout den mother and Bluebird leader. She was an active member of Longview Community Church serving in Neomi and Ruth Circles and as president of Women's Fellowship.

Later, Barbara and Paul were Group Travel Managers for Hadley Travel. Together, they explored the world, creating cherished memories and making countless friendships along the way.

Barbara is survived by her devoted children, Darby Huntington, and Heidi (Stan) Griffin; treasured grandchildren, Connor (Reian) Almon-Griffin; and Lindsay Griffin; and sister, Judy Kiser. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Wilma Beck; and her husband Paul Huntington.
