Rosemary Lykins Obituary
Rosemary was born Feb. 28, 1929, in Hammond, Indiana, the daughter of John Whitten and Ann (Lundquist) Whitten.
On July 27, 1946, in Calumet City, Indiana, Rosemary married Sanford Lykins Jr., who preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Lutheran faith. Rosemary enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, playing bingo and crocheting.
Surviving are her loving children, Rose L. (Joe) Krampen of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Sanford Lykins III of Coral Stream, Illinois, David (Tamera) Lykins of Antioch, Illinois, Loretta Rowland of Rensselaer, and Annette (Tim) Stensland of Badger, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Sanford; and one brother.
Friends may call at the Jackson Funeral Chapel of Rensselaer on Friday, June 5, from 9 to 11 a.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Jackson Funeral Chapel of Rensselaer with Randy Gaskey officiating. Burial will follow at Weston Cemetery in Rensselaer.
