Barbara Davies Obituary

Barbara Ann Davies, 69, of Huntersville, NC, passed away on February 24, 2026, after a brief illness. Born in Chicago, IL, on June 14, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Warren Beale, Jr. and the late Rosemary Bernice Beale (née Burke).

Barb is survived by her three daughters, Jen (Mark), Liz, and Sara; her brother, Tim (Stephanie); five grandchildren, Emma, Will, Ashton, Tyler, and Lucas; and three nephews, Tucker, Spencer, and Logan. She was preceded in death by her sister, Suzy Beale.

Raised in Chicago Heights, IL, Barb eventually made her way south, where she embraced the sunshine and warm weather. A free spirit at heart, she found joy in peaceful hikes, slow-moving beach days, and curling up with a good book on her patio. She was fiercely loyal and always put family first, cherishing the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, and nephews.

Barb will be remembered for her thoughtfulness, her kindness, and her ability to find joy in life’s simplest moments. She was a gift to all who knew her, and she will be dearly missed.

Plans for a memorial gathering to honor Barb’s life will be shared at a later date.
