Betty Payne Obituary
She is preceded in death by her husband, Carroll C. Payne; sons, Clyde Jr. and Gregg Payne; grandson, Zachary LeGrone; parents, Van and Ruby Gregory; brothers, Bobby, Denver, and Bill Gregory; and sisters, Ruth G. Sullivan and Peggy G. Oswalt.
She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn P. Averett (Dennis) of Cottondale, AL and Cheryl P. Boswell (Thomas) of Duncanville, AL; son, Barry R. Payne (Ann); sister, Delores G. Daniels of Hanover Park, IL; brother, Johnny R. Gregory of Vance, AL; grandchildren, Shane Averett of Steamboat Springs, CO, Selena Case (Jared) of Fayette, AL, April Hayes (Glenn) of Huffman, TX, Chad Payne (Adanys), Alexis Collins (Robert), and Caleb LeGrone; and great-grandchildren, Mattie Case, Avery Case, Bryson Case, Ky'Mia Case, JP Case, Aiden Payne, CeCe Payne, Kaitlyn Hayes, Cade Hayes, and Dawson Collins.
Honorary pallbearers are all aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, the entire Kizziah family, Enhabit hospice employees: Brooke, Kim, Julie, Armory, Latesha, Jessica, and Jonathan.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.

Carolyn I am so sorry I did not know about your mother I would have attended the service but yesterday was also a bad day for me I lost my husband a year and a half ago to ALS and it was his birthday please contact me I wish we were more connected than we have just at funerals or maybe if we run into each other at a store.
