Barbara Joy Obituary
Born April 18, 1946 in Frederick, MD she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Mary (Burkett) Wiles.
In addition to her husband, Barbara is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Koutroumpis and husband Christopher, grandsons, Jack Koutroumpis and Max Koutroumpis, sisters, Virginia Clark and Sharon Droneburg and companion Todd Giffin, nephews, James "Jimmy" Clark IV and Mat Droneburg and wife Teresa, niece, Michelle Golden and husband Doug, great nieces, Maddie Golden and Emily Golden, brother-in law, James R. Joy III, sister-in-law, Barbara Clark husband Jeff Sr., brother-in-law, Robert "Denny" Joy wife Rachel,nephews, Jeffrey Clark Jr. and Justin Clark and nieces: Lauren Joy, Shannon Joy, and Sarah Joy.
Barbara was preceded in death by her daughter, Ashley Joy, brother-in-law, James Clark III and sister-in law Donna Joy.
The family will receive friends from 4pm to 7pm, on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. The funeral service will be held at 10am, on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

Mike, I remember Barb so well as a kind, fun person always wanting to help everyone in the TERRACE LANES BOWLING ALLEY. I know she was a great mom and wife just by the wonderful memories I have of her. She will be missed I am sure.
