Omah Wheeler Obituary

Funeral services for Omah Wheeler, 98, will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 30, 2026 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. Bro. Pete Gilbert will officiate. Burial will be at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens, under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. A visitation will be held at 9:00 AM until the time of service.

Omah was born on December 12, 1927 in Kilbourne, Louisiana and passed away on January 25, 2026. She loved to fish and cherished every moment spent with her family. She found joy in cooking and sharing her holiday meals with those she loved. Omah was preceded in death by her grandsons, Timothy Warner, Jeff Hicks, Ricky Lowery and Lamar Lowery; and daughter, Irene Cowger.

Omah left behind her children, James Warner, Geneva Kepper, Shirley Almond and husband Tommy; 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and other cherished family and friends.
