Sheri Groves Smith
March 20, 2026
I met Steve and all of his brothers back in the 60´s. Our fathers Will Gibson & Frank Groves were Illinois State troopers. All the boys were still in grade school & highschool at the time. My mother was County Clerk for 45 years in Lawrenceville, IL. Will (father) ran for County Clerk after my mother passed; he kept this office, until his son Will ran and is now the standing County Clerk. I have kept up with your lives and whereabouts for years. I even tried to message your mother before she passed, I don´t believe she ever saw my message. I am sorry for all your losses between your mother, father, David and Steve. I thought a lot of your whole family and wish you all nothing but health, happiness and prosperity, as you all move forward in your lives. Prayers and condolences for your losses! My best to all of you!!
