Elizabeth "Liz" Ann Smith Shedd age 68, of Ringgold, Georgia passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026. She spent the early part of her life in Michigan and has resided in Ringgold for the last several years. A member of Missionary Baptist Church in Apison, Tennessee, Liz enjoyed crocheting, being outdoors, and watching her favorite movie, Titanic. She had a love for attending concerts, especially Michael Bolton's, as well as reminiscing about concerts that she had attended throughout her life.

Liz is preceded in death by her parents, Elwood Smith and Edna Rodgers; her sisters, Linda and Brenda; grandchildren, Justin and Edward as well as her great grandson Gabriel.

She is survived by her children, Angela Johnson, Frankie Shedd, and Robert Shedd; the father of her children, Frank Lee Shedd; her caregiver, Joe Rodgers, her siblings, Debbie, Donald, David, and Lewis; grandchildren, Robert Jr., Cassidy, Brittany, Frankie Jr. Heather, Cynthia, Angelina, Jerry III, Sabrina, and many great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Anderson Memorial Gardens with Pastor Farris Fletcher officiating.
