Funeral services for "Sissy" Elma Mae Robbins, 78, of Lufkin, will be held Friday, February 20, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin, with Pastor Ty Phillips officiating. Graveside services will be held, Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, New Bielau, Texas.

Mrs. Robbins was born on August 7, 1947, in Pasadena, Texas, to the late Hiram Eugene Eckles and the late Ethelyn Ruth (Swain) Eckles, and died on Thursday, February 12, 2026, in Lufkin, Texas.

Sissy was a passionate witness for the Lord to others. She loved to read the bible and often hosted bible studies at home and participated in bible studies with her co-workers. She found entertainment in playing bingo and other games, and she enjoyed spending time tending her flower beds. She graduated from Pasadena High School in 1965.

Mrs. Robbins is survived by her husband of 60 years, Frederick Parker Robbins of Lufkin; son, Rickey Robbins and wife, Martha Robbins of Lufkin; daughter, Renee Robbins Langley, and husband, Matt Langley of Austin; grandson, Bailey Robbins and wife, Amanda Robbins of Seguin; grandson, Parker Robbins and wife, Tia Robbins of New Braunfels; grandson, Nate Langley of Austin; granddaughter, Levi Langley of Austin; great-grandchildren, Nash Robbins, Ella Robbins and Molly Robbins; sister, Nina Johnson; sister, Dorty Coates and husband, Winston Coates; niece, Keri Stonecipher and husband, Mike Stonecipher; nephew, Richey Johnson and wife, Jennifer Johnson; nephew, Matt Coates and wife, Tracy Coates; nephew, John Coates and wife, Deanna; niece, Jennifer Schaefer, and husband, Brad Schaefer; and nephew, Randy Wise, and wife, Kerry Wise.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Carole Wise; and brother-in-law, Richard Johnson.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Friday, February 20, 2026, at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin, Texas.
