Florence Rickey Obituary

Florence Rickey 84, of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday February 8, 2026. Born in Export, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Roy and Mary Louise (Truxel) Cline.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald Rickey of Queens, New York.

Florence resided in the East Stroudsburg area for the past two years and previously lived in Queens, New York area. In her early years she was employed as a reservation clerk with Eastern Airlines for several years. She was of the Christian faith.

Florence is survived by her son Ronald Rickey and his wife Wendy of East Stroudsburg, PA; granddaughter Marissa Tortora and her husband, Jimmy; two great grandchildren: Charlotte and Caleb. She is also survived by her stepdaughter, Crystal Stovall and her husband, Jim, of Tulsa, OK. She is further survived by her siblings Rich and Pat Cline of Pittsburgn, PA; Barbara and David Tokich of Richmond, VA; and Melissa and Paul Coval of Columbus, OH and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday February 12, 2026, at 6:00pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, PA 18360. The family will receive friends from 4:00pm until the time of the services at the funeral home.
