Wilma Pivarnick Obituary

With love and remembrance, the family of Wilma Pivarnick announce the passing of their beloved mother who was born on April 26, 1934, in El Paso Texas and peacefully passed away on February 4, 2026, in El Paso Texas at the age of 91. Wilma is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved parents, Maria Refugio Muñoz Pivarnick and Stephen V. Pivarnick, and her dear brother Vincent Pivarnick.

She leaves behind her beloved sons Robert Pedregon, Daniel Pedregon (Cindy), Mario Pedregon(Martha); beloved daughters Grace Sanchez(Eddie), Yolanda Samavati(Sam), Ida Jones, and Ana Montoya. She is survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Wilma loved serving her community, children and families at Lydia Patterson Institute, Ysleta ISD, and Paul Moreno Elementary School. She was dedicated to the foster grandparent program , where she worked with so many wonderful Educators and staff. Wilma was also a lifelong donor to the care and lives for the children and families of the St. Jude Hospital foundation. This brought her so much joy and happiness throughout her years. On behalf of Wilmas family we are filled with gratitude to her providers for the love and care ; Elisa, Virginia, and most recent Sandra and Araceli. Thank you to her grandson Cisco Sanchez for the letters and phone calls which made her so happy.
