GORHAM----- Jeanne R. (Riendeau) Daigle of Gorham, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully at the age of 80 on Saturday February 7th, 2026 surrounded by the love of those who knew her best.
Jeanne was born on March 23, 1945, in Berlin New Hampshire, the daughter of the Sylvenie and Antoinette (Duchesnaye) Riendeau. She was a lifelong resident of the area and took great pride in her roots. A bright determined student, she graduated from Berlin High School at just sixteen years old with the class of 1961.
On July 25th, 1964, Jeanne married the love of her life, Roland Daigle at St. Benedict Church in Cascade. Together they built a life grounded in faith, hard work, and devotion to one another. In 1980, they founded Red Carpet Cleaning Service, which they owned and operated side by side until 2006--- a true partnership in every sense.
Jeanne was a faithful member of Holy Family Church and devoted many hours to the Good Shepherd Parish prayer shawl ministry, quietly offering comfort, warmth, and compassion to others. She believed deeply in service and kindness, values she lived every day.
She found joy in life’s simple pleasures--- losing herself in a good book, listening to music, creating crafts, and spending time with friends. Jeanne also volunteered at the St. Kieran Center for the Arts, where her gentle presence and willingness to help were sincerely appreciated.
Jeanne is survived by her beloved husband, Roland Daigle of Gorham; her sister, Georgette Parker and her husband Marvin Parker of Clyde, Texas; sisters-in-law Theresa and Kathy Riendeau; 17 Nieces and nephews; her dear friend of 75 Years, Sharon Fletcher Horne; longtime friends Ed and Sue Solar; and a wide circle of friends whose care and support meant so much to her.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Arthur Riendeau; Rene Riendeau and his wife Yvette; George Riendeau; Juliette Connolly and her husband Paul; and her nephew Robert Connolly, who was like a brother to her and held a special place in her heart.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 14th, 2026 at 10:00 am at the Holy Family Church in Gorham. Interment will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
Donations in Jeanne’s memory may be made to the St. Kieran Center for the Arts, 155 Emery Street, Berlin, NH 03570; Northwoods Cancer Survivors, 24 ½ Wood Street, Berlin, NH; or North Country Home Health & Hospice, 536 Cottage Street Littleton, NH 03561.
