Jeffrey J. Corren, 72, of Allenton, passed away on December 17, 2025, at his home.

Jeff was born on May 28, 1953, in Milwaukee, to the late Kenneth and Geraldine (née Peller) Corren. A true outdoorsman and hands-on creator, Jeff found joy in cooking, fishing, hunting, and working with his hands. Known affectionately as “Uncle Rabbit” and “Chef Jeff,” he brought both humor and heart into everything he did. He loved the open road, especially when riding his Harley, but music was his greatest passion. The radio was always playing, and Jeff could often be found behind his drums, or picking up any instrument he could get his hands on, letting rhythm and sound fill the room.

Those Jeff leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Karen “KC” Corren (nee Schneider); his son, Harley Corren (fiancé, Chandler); his siblings, Debra Gonzales, Karen (Russ) Lashway, and George Corren; his parents-in-law, Tom and Emmy Schneider; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl Brzezinski, Jan (John) Reese, Gail (Tom) Throne, Tommy Schneider; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Pam Brzezinski; an uncle, Jerome Peller; and two nephews, Russell Lashway Jr. and Kyle Clark.

A Celebration of Life will be held at his Mt. Morris property on Saturday, May 16, 2026.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.

The family would like to extend their deepest thank you to the angels at Horizon Hospice for their dedication and gentle care of Jeff in his time of need.

The Myrhum – Patten Funeral & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Jeff’s arrangements. Additional information and guestbook may be found at www.myrhum-patten.com.
