Jerry Parker Obituary

Jerry Parker, age 75, of Lebanon, died at 9:33 a.m. Thursday, February 12, 2026 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO surrounded by his loving family.

He was born November 19, 1950 in Vanceburg, KY, son of the late Harvey Halbert and Marian (Secrest) Parker. He married Julia Kuhn June 7, 1991. She survives.

He is also survived by two children: Cristy (Dave) Bohnenstiehl and Shaunna (Tim) Tardino. A brother, Kent Parker (Rose Petralio), and eight grandchildren: Morgan (fiancé Jacob Rexing), Avery, Carson, Claire, Kamryn, Isabella, Vance, and Lucy.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Debbie and infant brother Mark.

Jerry served as an air traffic controller for the United States Air Force for 20 years. After retirement he was a calibrator at Calser Corportation.

Jerry was an avid golfer and always loved a trip to the lake to camp with his camping buddies. He loved cheering on the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cincinnati Reds. Papa's greatest pride and joy were his grandchildren. Nothing made him happier than sitting in the stands at their sporting events, his smiling face easy to spot as he cheered them on with pockets full of candy to share. Jerry also took great pride in his home, especially his yard, which many said was the best on the street. Those who knew Jerry will remember him for his quick wit and his famously inappropriate jokes. His humor was one of the many reasons he was so deeply loved, and it will be fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A private burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Lebanon.
