Linda Tice Obituary

Linda A. Tice, 83, of Mansfield, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Haven Place Nursing Home in Lock Haven. She was born on June 9, 1942, in Blossburg, a daughter of James and Edrie (Purvis) Abernathy. Linda was the wife of the late Thomas G. Tice, with whom she shared 60 years of matrimony prior to his death on April 18, 2024. Linda, her husband and son formerly owned and operated the Wellsboro Rental Center. She worked with the customers and was the bookkeeper.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Wendy (Dan) Cole of Lancaster; son, Jeff Tice of Mansfield; grandchildren, Aaron Cole of Lancaster; Autumn (Chad) Freeman of Lititz; Josiah (Jaralyn) Cole of Manheim; Jordan, Rebekah, Ryan, Vanita and Volesya Cole, all of Lancaster; great-grandchildren, Amelia, Caspian, and Trinity Freeman, all of Lititz; sister-in-law, Linda Abernathy.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; twin brother, Leland Abernathy; brother, Richard "Dick" Abernathy; and a grandson, Caleb Cole.
