Frank DelViscio Obituary

Frank “Del” DelViscio, age 86, of West Chester, PA, passed away suddenly on Monday, February 9, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Josephine Gillespie DelViscio, who preceded him in death on October 29, 2025.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Frank was the son of the late James DelViscio and Antoinette Ferro. He was a proud graduate of Bishop Shanahan High School, where he played baseball, and a veteran of the United States Army.

Frank was a longtime member of Saint Patrick Parish, where he played on the parish softball team. He loved supporting his children and grandchildren at their sporting events, rarely missing a game. Frank and his family enjoyed spending as much time as possible at their home in Sea Isle City, traveling to Canada and the Great Lakes in their pop-up trailer, and visiting Atlantic City to play the slot machines or simply sit on the boardwalk and people-watch.

Survivors:
Frank is survived by his sons, Darrin DelViscio (Rhonda) and Joseph DelViscio; and his cherished grandchildren, Sabrina, Katrina (fiancé Ryan Porter), Devin, Dayton, and Francesca (fiancé Michael Beard). He was the stepson of the late Joe Cusano and stepbrother of the late Toni Cusano.

Services:
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Frank’s visitation on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Saint Patrick Church, 104 Channing Avenue, Malvern, PA, followed by his Memorial Mass at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Saint Agnes Cemetery, West Chester.

My husband and I (along with members of our Breakfast Club that Mr. DelViscio’s son, Joe would join us from time to time) would like to give condolences to Joe and his entire family in the loss of his father. May God Bless him !

Mr. D was a kind man, along with his wife, Josie. They always made time for a little girl running around wrestling events.
They did it so well, I thought of them as "my" friends.

It is to my derp regret that I have been unable to attend either memorial. I will remember both with warmth.

Del was a very nice, friendly person. He and Josephine are probably strolling hand and hand on the streets of heaven. R.I.P.

I am so sorry to hear of his passing and to read of Josie’s passing in October. My ex-husband, Joe Dunlap, and I were good friends years ago when we lived in Malvern. We had many, many good times with them and soooo many laughs! Frank was a little quieter but Josie was always laughing and joking! My condolences to their family and friends!!! I know they are greatly missed! Sandy

Frank was a dear man. His face beamed when he talked about his granddaughters upcoming weddings. My heart goes out to his loving family.

The news of Frankie's passing today went through me like a knife. He was one of my big bother's cadre of Malvern buddies when I was growing up in the 1940's/50's. I was subsequently embraced by his parents, Joe & Antoinette Cusano, as they welcomed my little family into their home & the apt. that housed Frank & Josie in their early years of marriage. His little sister Toni was like a big sister to my daughter, who went to school with the DelViscio boys, I always enjoyed running into Frankie, who reminded me so much of my brother and the Malvern that once was. My heart goes out to his family, but I am consoling myself that Frankie is in the presence of his Lord and loved ones. A life well lived. A life well loved.
