LeRoy Kretser Obituary

In the early morning hours of July 17, LeRoy passed peacefully at his home. LeRoy leaves behind his cherished nephew and caregiver Jeff Berry, his wife Amanda, and their two children who always helped take care of Uncle Juney, Isabella and Jeffrey David.
LeRoy was raised in Lassellsville by LeRoy Kretser SR and Laura (Getman) Kretser. He was a graduate of Oppenheim Ephratah Central School.
LeRoy loved his two cats Daisey and Missy. He was a Yankee fan and would often be watching a game. He also enjoyed a good Nascar race. LeRoy worked for Beechnut before switching careers and driving trucks for School house and SLA trucking. He was an avid turkey hunter.
Leroy was predeceased by his loving wife Shirlee, his brother William Kretser, his sisters Barbra Manchester and Shirley Berry and brothers in law Richard Manchester and Charles Berry. LeRoy was also predeceased by an Infant Brother.
LeRoy was survived by sister-in-law Patricia Kretser, children Martin and Mary, stepchildren Scott and Jeff, several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A thank you to his niece Debra for her help as well.
Services celebrating the life LeRoy will be held graveside in the Roseboom Cemetery, Beaver St., Roseboom, NY on Tuesday, July 29th, 2025 at 11am.
