Richard "Tony" Anthony Farmer, born on September 12, 1977, in Wabash, Indiana, to Paul Douglas and Phyllis (Warren) Farmer, passed away suddenly at his home in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on February 12, 2026. He was 48 years old.

Tony was known for his unwavering work ethic, having dedicated the last two years of his life to Lakeside Book Company in Kendallville, Indiana. As a private person, Tony exhibited a spirited personality that combined stubbornness with a generosity of heart. He was straightforward in his dealings with others and had an inherent ability to connect with people, loving them deeply and genuinely. Tony's family was of utmost importance to him, and he cherished the close-knit bonds they shared. His enthusiasm for life included a love for fishing and an appreciation for his truck, which often took him on adventures. In addition to his personal passions, Tony was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, proudly supporting his team through every game.

The loving memory of Richard “Tony” Farmer will be forever cherished by his sons, David Handing and Austin Buskirk; mother and step-father, Phyllis and Jeff Christlieb, Fort Wayne; brothers, Paul Douglas Farmer II, Fort Wayne and Jesse Colton (Jessica) Farmer, North Manchester. Tony was preceded in death by his father, Paul Douglas Farmer; and brother, Jackie Wayne Farmer.

Family and friends may call Wednesday, February 18, 2026 from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, Indiana. Funeral services will begin at the conclusion of calling with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. Burial will be held at Swank Cemetery in North Manchester, Indiana.

For those who wish to honor the memory of Tony Farmer, memorial contributions may be made to McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, Indiana 46962, to assist with final expenses.
