Tracey was a loving and dedicated Mother and Grandmother (Nana). Dedicated to her Grandchildren and family. Always helping in any way she could, she just wanted the best for us all and would do everything she could to make sure it would happen. If there's one thing about her, she loved her Grandbabies and would do anything for them. She was always loving, to everyone, always there when you needed her. She was definitely a wonderful person, a beautiful soul.
When you see her, you could almost always find her elbow deep in a good book, with a good cup of coffee. She loved to read, always, ever since she was young. She enjoyed Aroma Therapy and her Essential Oils. Lavender, Tea Tree, Eucalyptus and Patchouli Oils were some of her top go to's and favorites.
Growing up from school to when she met our dad and after, she loved to dance. One of the precious memories the boys (Alex and Zane) were said to have of Nana recently was of her dancing to some 1980's boogie music that Zane had looked up for her. Rooting for her as they did, she started to dance even more. She was a 'VERY good dancer', her mother had said.
She spent many years working for the local prisons, Limestone County Detention Center (
Groesbeck, TX.) and at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice - Boyd Unit (
Teague, TX.), as a Correctional Officer, and had retired. Before that she was a Massage Therapist as well as a stay-at-home Mom. She was very supportive of her children's and grandchildren's sports and band. She spent many afternoons at the school playing basketball with her daughter Natasha, she made sure she practiced. And was in the stands rooting for her as she played at her games, and even at practice with the team! Just as she did with her grandbabies.
Not a day will go by without missing her. She was deeply loved by us all. A loving Daughter, ''Sissy'', Mother, and ''Nana''. She will always be in our hearts, always be loved and most deeply missed.
We Love You and Miss You so Very Very Much, Momma - Nana! We wish you didn't have to go so soon. We love you and miss you so much. You will Never be forgotten. You will most certainly forever be in our hearts, Always and Forever! Until we meet again.
Tracey is survived by her 2 children, Natasha Sharmayne Bryant and Charles Ray Greer Jr. (C.J.). Her mother, Jerre Lee Pruett, and 2 brothers, Clayton Long and James (Jaime) Long. Along with her 7 grandchildren, Travis Meazell, Alexander Cantu, Xavior ''Zane'' Cantu, Arya Whisler, Amirie and Hagin Greer.
