Florence Kragiel Obituary
Florence T. Kragiel, 95, of New Britain, CT passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. She was born on July 27, 1930 to the late Boleslaw and Emily Kragiel.
She is survived by her nephews: Lucian Jr. Kragiel and Gregory Kragiel both of Gainesville, FL and Daniel Kragiel of Morganton, NC and their families; the family of niece Marcia Kragiel DiDonato; her step-niece Jennifer Merritt Hamon of Marieta, GA; her goddaughter, Julie Soudier and her husband Thomas of Berlin, CT and as many good friends a person could ever be blessed with.
Florence was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Lenora Kragiel Anthony and Donald C. Anthony; her brothers: Henry Kragiel and Lucian Sr. Kragiel; her sister-in-law, Irene Achenbach Kragiel, her niece, Marcia Kragiel DiDonato; her grandniece, Mara DiDonato Fisher; her nephew, Fred DiDonato and her step niece, Nancy Anthony Merritt.

Ms. Kragiel graduated with my parent Hedy (Karas) & Donald Zajac at New Britain High School in 1948( I have the yearbook) and I wanted to share her photo with family members. Please accept my condolences and I hope this brings a smile or memory.
