HUDSON FALLS – Charlotte M. Barry, 79 of Hudson Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 13, 2026 at Glens Falls Hospital after a short illness.

Born on January 14, 1947, in Glens Falls, she grew up in Queensbury and was the daughter of the late Felix and Agnes (Nolette) Burch. Charlotte worked for many years as a school bus driver at Hudson Falls Central Schools. She loved her job there and that love was reciprocated back to her by the children she was entrusted with.

Charlotte was a very devoted mother and grandmother and loved to spend time with her family. Charlotte loved spending time with her beloved "puppy" Lexi. She also enjoyed spending time in her garden, watching old western movies, making homemade soups, and coloring.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her first husband, Larry R. Davis; her second husband, Richard Barry; her siblings, Cathy Chard, Rosemary Burch, Eileen Mickel, Ricky Burch, and Rena Brown; and her sister-in-law, Patricia Burch.

She is survived by her children, Senior Chief Larry R. Davis, United States Navy (Elizabeth) of Green Mountain, N.C., Mark Davis (Randy Mercier) of Gansevoort, and Lisa Shannon (Paul) of Hudson Falls; her grandchildren, Samantha Sumner (Steven), Tiffany Wood, Bradley Wood, Paul A. Shannon, Alexander Shannon, Kyle Davis, Sabrina Zak, and Julie Nolin; her brother and sister, Ronald Burch and Nancy Mickel; several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, March 23, 2026 at the Carleton Funeral Home, 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls. A service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. A private burial will take place at Pine View Cemetery at a later date.
