Michael Jacox Obituary

Michael D. Jacox

August 23, 1958 - February 28, 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael D. Jacox, a beloved father, son, brother, and friend, who left this world unexpectedly on Saturday, February 28, 2026.

Born on August 23, 1958, in Glens Falls, New York, the beloved son of Charles and Mary Jacox.

A graduate of Glens Falls High School class of 1976, Mike embarked on a career in mill operations at General Electric, and Decora. His ability to adapt and embrace new challenges eventually led him to become a handyman, a true jack of all trades. He was known for his warm smile and infectious humor and the love he shared with those around him.

Mike was a loving husband of 32 years to Linda Jacox. They had three children, Christopher, Tara and Timothy.

Mike cherished every moment spent with his children, coaching little league, years of travel hockey, family vacations to Maine and Florida or just hanging out by the pool. Mike would do anything for his children, his love, guidance, and support were at the center of everything he did.

Some of his favorite past times were boating on Lake George and Schroon Lake, snowmobiling, and camping.

Mike was predeceased by his mother, Mary; and his sister, Susan Marie.

He is survived by his children, Christopher Jacox, Tara (Cullen) Fuller, and Timothy Jacox; his father, Charles Jacox; and siblings, Cheryl (Dan) Stewart, Marcia Caldwell (Joe Ricciardelli); as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Baker Fuenral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

A private burial will take place at Pine View Cemetery, Queensbury, NY at the convenience of the family.

Condolences and flowers may be sent directly to Baker Funeral Home, or through www.bakerfuneralhome.com.

I am so sorry to see this about Michael. Cheryl, I know I have not seen you in forever, and a very long ever, but I will never forget when I used to be over to your house all the time and had a crush on your brother. LOL He is such a great person. All the years I have known you guys and the last I saw Michael was on William Street, a LONG time ago when he lived over there and I had an apartment over there at that time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and I will never forget the memories I had of all of us hanging out. Those were the good old days. May Mike rest in peace and may you find peace in knowing you have an awesome angel watching over all of you. Your memories are yours to keep forever.
