December 15, 1941 - December 22, 2025
Clifford George Getty, 84, of Davenport, passed away on December 22, 2025. Per his wishes, he will be cremated. A Celebration of Life in conjunction with his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Bettie Ann (Meyer) Getty will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Weerts Funeral Home. She preceded him in death on August 2, 2024.
Clifford was born December 15, 1941, in Davenport, Iowa to Betty Jane (Watkins) Getty and George Frank Getty. He was united in marriage to Bettie on November 27, 1965.
Clifford worked as a printer at various locations for 40+ years. Clifford enjoyed hunting, camping, and his beloved dogs.
Survivors include his sons Todd (Nancy Munter) Getty of Madison, Wisconsin and Mark G. Getty; two grandchildren, Cameron and Marissa Getty; his sister-in-law Sharon Getty; and his sister Patsy (Denny) Pregel of Plymouth, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Terrence Getty.
Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
