Adam Cropp Obituary

Adam Smith Cropp, a cherished son, brother, and friend, departed this world on March 2, 2024. He was 42 years old.

Adam was born to Stan and Cathi Cropp on April 29, 1981. Soon thereafter, the family relocated to Southwestern Colorado and remained there for the duration of Adam's formative years. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, experiencing the multitude of outdoor recreational opportunities available in the area, and could always be found with a good book close at hand. After graduating high school, Adam's journey included stops in Florida, California, and Nevada. He possessed an adventurous spirit and never shied away from an opportunity for new experiences.

Adam enjoyed testing grown-ups from his earliest years. For this reason, he earned the nickname 'Adam Bomb'. One never knew what to expect with him. At the age of three, Adam and his siblings were taken to a child-find event at a local mall where young children were fingerprinted by police officers. The line was long and to relieve his boredom, Adam waited for the perfect opportunity to vanish when no one was looking. His mother panicked when she saw he was gone and enlisted the help of some nearby police officers. Before long, an overhead page interrupted the action with the announcement, 'would the parents of Adam Bomb please come to luggage'. There he was, grinning ear to ear.

Adam was preceded in death by his father, Stan Cropp. He is survived by his mother Cathi and siblings Rachel, Simon, and Sam. He will be dearly missed by many friends and family after departing this life far too early.
