Alexander Stanford Obituary

Alex was born June 15, 1992 in Waco, Tex.; the son of Lida Anne (Stanford) and Herbert Mark Salyer. He passed away on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012 in Wellington, Colo. at the age of 20.

Alex attended school in Mancos. He loved people and spending time with friends and family. Alex enjoyed playing the guitar in his free time.

Surviving Alex are his parents, Herbert and Lida Salyer of Mancos; and his siblings, Aaron Salyer of Mancos and Ashley Cormier and husband, Eric of Seattle, Wash. Alex also leaves behind his grandparents, Eileen Salyer of Mancos, and Jim and Amanda Stanford of Waco, Tex., his niece, Kahlan Cormier of Seattle, Wash.; his aunts and uncles, Karen Morgan and husband, Ernest of Cleveland, Tex., Merrit Viles and husband, John of Cleveland, Tex., Kimber Stern and husband, Alex of Cleveland, Tex., Vanessa Cirtion and husband, Manny of Fort Hood, Tex., and Wesley Stanford and wife, Sandy of Teague, Tex.; numerous cousins; and all those who knew and loved him. Alex was preceded in death by his grandfather, Herbert L. Salyer in 2009.
