Barbara Lybarger Obituary

Memorial services for Dolores resident Barbara Nadine Lybarger will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct 27 at Darrell Howe Mortuary in Lafayette, Colo. Inurnment will follow at Lafayette Cemetery.

Barbara was born Feb. 27, 1935 in Louisville, Colo. the daughter of George William and Nadine Loburn (Kellett) Lybarger. She passed away on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012 at Vista Grande Inn at the age of 77.

Traveling was an activity that Barbara enjoyed. She visited Hawaii and San Francisco, the ocean was a favorite destination. Barbara spent as much time as she could with her family, she loved her great-grandchildren dearly. Sharing a meal out with friends and family meant a lot to Barbara.

Surviving Barbara are her daughter, Gwenda Vallery and husband, Robert of Dolores; her granddaughters, Tonja Cox and husband, Tyson of Cortez, Regina Vallery of Houston, Texas, and Tera Vallery of Cortez; her great-grandchildren, Myranda Horn, Jeremy Cox, Karston Cox, and Alicia Brito; and her brothers, Ed Lybarger of Erie, Colo., and Glen Lybarger and wife, Barbara of Littleton, Colo. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; and by two sisters and one brother.
