Blanca Baldo Obituary

Blessed wife, mother, grandmother, friend to many and well-loved community member Blanca Valdivia of Cortez, CO, passed into the arms of Our Loving Savior on July 23, 2018, in Mexico at the age of 71.

Blanca Esthela Valdivia Baldo was born 12/13/1946 in Veracruz, Mexico, to Cosme Valdivia and Carmen Baldo Toss. Blanca is survived by her husband, Roberto Obispo; sister, Yolanda Valdivia; brother, Ricardo Barragan; two children, Rosa Sabido of Cortez, and Oscar Sabido of Mexico; grandchildren, Daniel and Alejandro Sabido-Yberri; and great-grandchildren, Jaiden Smith-Sabido, Aubree Smith, Mia Sabido, and Daniela Sabido. She was preceded in death by her siblings Aurora, Sandra, Hugo, Rosa, and Victor Valdivia.

A memorial Mass/service will be held Saturday, 9/1, at 11 a.m. at Mancos United Methodist Church, co-celebrated by Father Pat Valdez and Pastor Craig Paschal. Reception will follow. Memorial contributions can be sent to Rosa Belongs Here c/o Mancos UMC, PO Box 505, Mancos, CO 81328.

Blanca Valdivia she worked @ the casino she was a wonderful women we had a cry together a special moment for the both of us she was God sent you will be missed.
