First, my condolences to the family of Ms Hadely. I am a former student of Ms Hadley. I grew up and lived in Towaoc, CO, on the Ute Mountain Ute Indian Reservation. I was the oldest of seven kids of our parents. My paremts had to make a choice on whether to send us to boarding school or public school. I believe my own parent´s experience of being in a boarding school system was not pleasant for either of them. So they kept us home and enrolled us in the RE-1 school district. Kemper Elementary School is where we were sent. 2nd Grade at Kemper I crossed paths with Ms Hadley. In life it is our parents who educates us, then comes the educators in school. Ms Hadley was my initial inspirational educator. I recall a game we as students played that had a hint of competition. I ended up winning this simple game. Success was instilled in me at that point. That small event caused me to continue to try in life because of the mindful instruction given to me by Ms Hadley. She was the cornerstone to my educational foundation. Today, I learn of this sad news of Ms Hadley´s passing. I wish to share my heartfelt thanks for you being my teacher. I´m now a retired NPS Chief Ranger whose last duty station was Chaco Cultural National Historical Park. I have traveled the world and worked in many public land mangement areas across the west and numerous National Park units. Ms Hadely, it was your instruction that set me on my journey of success. Many thanks, Ms Hadley
