Bruce McGaughey Obituary
Mac moved to Durango in 1971. He owned 1101 Main Realty for several years, and was a member of the Colorado Mounted Rangers. Mac loved hunting, fishing, and dancing, and always had a joke or a story (most were true). He had been unable to do the things he loved for several years, but kept a sense of humor. Survivors include wife Melba, Cortez; 3 sons, John (Charlotte) McGaughey, Springs, TX; Mitch (Cathy) McGaughey, Castle Rock, CO; and Richard McGaughey, Houston, TX; brother, Barry (Nancy) McGaughey, Hutchinson, KS; 10 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. Special thanks for Montezuma Hospice for their care during his last days.
