Cathie Everett Obituary

Cathie Everett died on November 29, 2022 from end-stage COPD in Albuquerque, NM. She was a true force for good, loving as many people as she could fit into her short days. She was fiercely devoted to serving those who needed her most, whether helping at Grace's Kitchen to feed her hungry friends or standing up for marginalized youth who needed a safe place to land. As St. Barnabas Episcopal Church wrote, "she enveloped so many people in her exuberant and generous love and cared for this community with all of her heart". She will be missed by many. According to her wishes, she has been cremated and her ashes will be placed in the columbarium at St. Barnabas along with her husband David's. There will be a celebration of life at that time.
