Cheryl Foster Obituary
Cherrie was endlessly curious, well-read, and passionate about the environment, and the people she loved. She was happiest in the mountains, reading a good true-crime novel with her head in the shade and her feet in the sun. Her strong opinions, humor, and generosity made her unforgettable to all who knew her.
She is survived by her partner John Stansbury, her brothers Wade (Ellen) Foster, Justin "Dusty" (Mary) Foster, and Travis (Shauna) McGee, and by her beloved daughter, Erin Lane Sawyer, née Jindra who will forever carry her authentic, funny and passionate spirit forward.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. at the Dolores Community Center. Friends and family are warmly invited to attend and share memories of Cherrie.
