Cindy Moore Obituary

Cynthia (Cindy) Ann Montgomery Moore a local life long resident passed away February 9th 2018 at the age of 63 due to Influenza Type A. She was born in Durango, CO on November 21, 1954 to Etta Margaret Cundiff and Howard William Montgomery and graduated Cortez High School in 1973. Cindy is survived by husband Sam Moore and children Donna (Stuart) Yates, Delbert Montgomery, and Jill (Jeff) Halcomb. 7 surviving grandchildren Samantha (fiance Kyle Wareham), Michael, Jasmine (fiance Ryan Gurney), Corbin, Sara, Tabitha, and Preston. 2 great-grandchildren, Bexley and Oaklyn. 4 siblings, Phyllis (Carle) Russell, Roberta, Bill (Barbara) Montgomery, and Marjorie Dennison. A best friend Rejeania Lackey. 4 uncles, 17 nieces and nephews & countless cousins and beloved friends. She is preceded in death by her grandmother Francis Bachman Cundiff Thierry Eldridge, grandfather Bunion Cundiff, father Howard William Montgomery and mother Etta Margaret Cundiff. Brother James Montgomery and grandson Thomas Ray Fisher. There will be a memorial held at the Elks Lodge March 3, 2018 at 2 PM. There will be a potluck in her memory. In lieu of Flowers the family is asking for donations can be given to Donna Yates to pay off the final medical expenses at Southwest Memorial in Cortez, the Flight for Life and St. Mary's in Grand Junction.
