Cliff Simon Obituary

I was so very sad when lovely Cliff Simon left this plane and passed to the next. I enjoyed watching him in SG1 and loved his interesting series ‘Into The Unknown’. I understand he was a very spiritual person who was interested in the mysteries of the World- such a talented man taken too young. It was obvious what a lovely person he was and my heart goes out to his loved ones.

Yes I was sorry he died to young to die yes he a good Actor I knew to other actors who died in their earily age one was Michael Landon and Victor French they were in their 50's U am in my 70's Anne Lemar

it was such a shock when his wife posted on his facebook informing everyone about his passing i will miss his interactions at stargate conventions and everyonce in awhile on FB messenger my utmost condolences to his wife and family he was an incredibly talented man

Regrettably I only just found out about the very sad passing of Cliff. For any fan of Stargate SG-1, like myself, Cliff was a hugely important and unforgettable part of the series as Ba'al. He acted the part of the Goa'uld System Lord with incredible skill to portray both his evil menace and wicked humour. Condolences to his family and friends. RIP Cliff.

RIP my friend. I met you in 1995 during the Miss Universe Western Cape Queen of the Nile. We became good friends. I regularly visited you on the Egoli set and you came to visit me in Stellenbosch on the wine farm where I was resident. What magical times these were! We remained good friends till your death. You were such a great person. Condolences to Colette and the family.

My deepest sympathies. Cliff was a true gentleman and the kindest soul that I knew. I knew him through conventions and he always made me feel welcomed. I started seeing him at multiple cons and he would always recognize me and he was always ready with a big smile and a “hello” and a “how are you.” The world is a little less bright but he lives on in all of us who remember him so fondly. Much love during this difficult time.

All of us in the Stargate community knew Cliff from his portrayal of Ba’al. Some of us were lucky enough to have met him and some, like myself, even luckier to have met him several times over the years. I have met hundreds of celebrities over the years and I can say that Cliff was one of the nicest if not THE nicest gentleman you could’ve ever met.And that was what he was like with his fans. He always gave us the time to talk to him about almost anything. Whenever I would meet him we would talk about our love of dogs and also Cliff would often talk about an adventure he had just came back from or was planning to do. He touched so many of our lives in the Stargate community and we are all going to feel his loss for years to come. I would like to pass on my deepest condolences to Colette and the rest of the family. He will never be forgotten. RIP

My sincere condolences to all the loved ones of Cliff. I am sending you lots of love and strenght. I got to 'know' Cliff through the Stargate series, I absolutely loved his acting skills. Besides that I watched many interviews with Cliff. He was such a lovely man. Keeping all of you in my thoughts.

I met Cliff at the gym, he was my trainer for 2 years! he was an amazing person, he had a passion for everything he did, we socialize a few times with his beautiful wife Collete.. we always use to joke that he and I were the same age for one week because I'm one year older and one week after his Birthday. Clifford (like I use to call him) you will be missed by a lot of people, rest in peace my good friend, Now you are together with your parents and dogs. Baruch Dayan Hemet
