Danny Marks Obituary
Danny was born in Glenwood Springs, Colorado on November 16th, 1950, to Arnold Emerson and Theo (Walsh) Marks. He was raised in Eagle, Colorado where he graduated high school and helped support his family by managing part of the Eagle Valley Ranch.
Danny was an excellent student growing up, and an accomplished athlete lettering in multiple sports including baseball, basketball and football. He managed the ranch with his father, who was also a county commissioner, which led Danny to get involved in FFA and student government throughout his high school years. He was a hunter and fisherman his entire life and loved spending time with family and friends.
After high school he moved to Denver, Colorado to attend technical school to become a service repair technician. While in Denver he married his wife of 52 years, Merelene K. (Mert) Satterfield, and they had their only child (Joshua) Lee E

I miss all the stories that "Mom" had! I work with Danny many years at the autoclaves and will always remember the 7 day seed to salad radish story he like to tell. RIP danny you are missed.

Worked with Danny, at Barrick AC, always had a funny story, He helped us brand a few times, and enjoyed the bird hunting .Condolense to Josh and the family. RIP Danny

We worked together for 12 years at Barrick autoclaves and always a pleasure to hear his funny jokes. Hard worker with Jesse Torres and other crew members. Danny always mentioned Josh in all conversations, so proud of him and his wife, she still loves me, maybe it´s my bad breath. Terry Toble would laugh so hard.
