Delbert Borrelli Obituary

I had the privilege to know the Borrellis most of my life and play a lot of poker with Del and had Mrs B for my teacher. He is very missed in Cortez especially at the elks where he worked so hard to make it a better place. RIP my good friend

I had the pleasure of singing with Del in the Choralairs for some 15 years. Always the gentleman, Del also was a good story teller. RIP my friend

Don't know what happened to my entry, so I will make it again.
Mel and I will miss Del, his smile, and his dancing! He was a very special man and we are honored that we could count him as a friend and a Bronco buddy!

Pete and I are so glad that Uncle Del made it to our wedding this spring! And he got to see the Josephs Robe Rose that he and Aunt Lois bought for us which was blooming yellow, pink and lavender in all its glory! He said, "I wish Lois could see it!" I was blessed to spend amazing time with your daddy and granddad at a time when having such a wonderful man like him was important in my life. He always had a twinkle in his eye, a smile on his face, and a dance in his toes. Mr. and Mr. Borrelli were just so special to me. Their legacy in the amazing people you all are is evidence of a life well lived.

Thank you for sharing them both...and I can't help but smile at the thought that they are back together. Their love is everlasting...dance with the angels Mr. Borrelli...especially that beautiful one named Lois...

I really enjoyed my talks with Del. We worked together on the Elks Clem and Evelyn Audin Committee which help kids in need. He was so nice and fun to speak with. My husband is Italian so Del liked that! Our sincere condolences and prayers go out to you. Linda and Jim DeLuca

I can not begin to say what we thought of our beloved friend/client. We are so glad we were able to travel with him and Ann these past 2 years. He was such an inspiration for us. He made us smile and be happy we were alive every time we were together. He has left an empty space in my heart. Our love and prayers for all the family. You all know how much we love you.

The Blosser's have been amazingly enriched knowing "Daddy". This sweet soul had such warmth and love emanating from him every encounter we shared. The hug, the kiss, the love was felt each and every time. JUCO will forever be a little more nostalgic knowing he won't be with us cheering on 10 teams over a 19 game stretch every year. May his love and light continue to shine on in his children and grandchildren.

Our hearts are saddened, but we feel so blessed having know this wonderful man. Sending this whole family love and sympathy at this difficult time.

I consider myself the luckiest daughter to have had the best and most wonderful dad I could have been blessed with. He was always a tough disciplinarian to my sister and me but still had a way to let us know that no matter what, he loved us without any hesitation. I miss my daddy so much but know that he has now joined mom and will be my angels who will always protect and love me until I join them in eternal life. Rest in peace daddy! I love you forever!

I will miss Del's hugs & little pecks on the cheek, and that cute little way he smiled. The Tuesday "Late Shift" league just won't be the same without my teammate and having him call me "Captain".

I know he's in heaven now, dancing effortlessly with his lovely Lois! I look forward to joining them someday in God's great ballroom!!
