Donna Ragland Obituary

Donna Lea Rose Ragland passed away at the age of 80 on May 17, 2015 surrounded by her family at her home in Dolores, Colorado.

Donna was born on August 11, 1934 in Copper Spur, Colorado to father John Oscar Rose and mother Daisy Mae Crisp Rose. She was the sixth of eleven children.

Donna married Bill F. Ragland on June 16, 1951. Four children were born to this union: Douglas, Melissa, Harold and Barbara.

Donna was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; they were her greatest joy!

Donna was preceded in death by her father John Oscar Rose, mother Daisy Mae Crisp Rose, one sister Shirley Jo Rose Baker and two nephews Steve Rose and Billy Laman.

Donna was a strong Christian who put her faith before all else. She loved to garden, play bridge and fish, but most of all spend time with her family. She will be truly missed by all that knew her.

Donna's memorial service was held at Mountain Baptist Church in Dolores, Colorado on Wednesday, May 20, 2015.

All of the family would like to thank everyone for their kind words, prayers, beautiful flowers, and good food; it was greatly appreciated.
