Edna Eason Obituary

Edna Irene Eason passed away the morning of Dec. 28, 2013, in Colorado Springs, with her daughter by her side. She was born on April 24, 1924, to Kiel and Bessie (Ewbank) James, in Center, Colo.

Edna married James Louis Eason on Oct. 31, 1943, in Taos, N.M. They had two children. Edna enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting any pattern she could find or that anyone would ask for. She was an active publisher for Jehovah's Witnesses for many years.

Her parents, her husband and her son, James Louis (Jim) Eason, Jr., preceded Edna in death. She is survived by her brother, Wendell James, daughter Jerri Eason Robbins, grandchildren, Bret Tuck Baker, Kara Baker, Krystal Baker, Tammy Eason and Brian Eason and by many great-grandchildren.

Memorial services are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Jan. 11, 2014, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 10922 Highway 160 E, in Alamosa.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Cheyenne Mountain Care Center Activities Fund, 835 Tenderfoot Hill Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80906, in her name.
