Elsie Bell Obituary

Elsie Pearl Bell, 67, of Grand Junction, Colo., passed away Sept. 6, 2014. She was born to George and Hannah Prickett on Oct. 27, 1946, in Kingman, Ariz. She attended school in Cortez, Colo., where she graduated from Montezuma-Cortez High School in 1964.

She later moved to Grand Junction where she was employed as a Deputy Clerk for County Court. She met and married George Roylyn Bell on June 5, 1970. They had two children together, Karen and Scott.

She is surivived by her husband, George; children, Karen, and Scott (Shawna); and grandchildren, Josiah and Shalena, all of Grand Junction. She also leaves behind her mother, Hannah Whyman, of Cortez, Colo.; and three sisters, Elena Prickett (Rod Holton), of Cortez, Colo.; Edith Anderson of Ogden, Utah; and Evelyn Phelps (Fred) of Cortez, Colo.; as well as many other family members. She was preceded in death by her father, George Prickett and stepfather, Bill Whyman. Elsie was an excellent example of a Godly woman, touching many lives and leaving a legacy for us to follow.

Services were held Sept. 10 in Grand Junction.
