Florence Archibeque Obituary

Funeral Mass for lifelong area resident Florence Archibeque will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Pat Valdez C.R. officiating. Interment will follow at Cortez Cemetery.

Rosary services will be held Monday evening at 6 p.m. at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.

Beloved child of God, wife, and mother, Florence Archibeque, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013. She was born March 12, 1934, in Pinones, Colo. In life, she was a tireless worker, loyal, and caring wife. She never knew a stranger and welcomed all to her home.

Florence is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ben Archibeque; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Theresa, Dan and Linda, Bob and Vicki, and David. Dearly loved were her grandchildren, Shannon, Shawn, Adam, Marty, Randon, Kirk, Jake, Kyle and Autumn; and her great grandchildren, Jonathan, Jerrica, Winston, Carlee, Maryssa, Calah, Reghan, Rylan, Riann, Amy and Leah. Florence was preceded in death by her parents, Saturnino and Louisa Candelaria; and her son, Russell Archibeque.
