Frances Spratte Martinez Obituary
She was born in Pleasant View, Colorado on April 29, 1937, the daughter of the late Luke M. and Frances E. (Proctor) Lancaster. Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands J. G. "Jack" Spratte in 1977 and J.B. Martinez in 2015; one son Scott Spratte; five brothers Tom, Leon, Boyd, Charlie and Bill Lancaster; three sisters Cleda Vining, Winona Moss and Leona Beaty.
Frances is survived by three daughters Julie (Gilbert) Montoya of Sugar Land, TX., Pam McGuire of Lake Oswego, OR., Becky (Tony) Ferrell of Hillsboro, OH., daughter-in-law Cathy Spratte of Melbourne, FL., stepson Jim (Kathy) Spratte , of Chicago, Il.; eleven grandchildren Kimberly, Amanda, Shaylyn, Cassandra, Trevor, Stephanie, Nakita, Brittany, Katie, Tommy, Alyssa; four great grandchildren Jayna, Haylee, Brooklyn, Little Jimmy; two brothers Jess Lancaster and Donald (Connie) Lancaster; one sister Louise (Glen) Baer; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Services in Fran's memory will be held at the convenience of the family at Regina Cemetery in Regina, New Mexico.
Family requests memorials to Community Care Hospice, P.O. Box 123, Wilmington, OH 45177 or the donor's favorite charity.

To the Ferrell Family,
I so enjoyed getting to hear Granny Franny stories. Her memories lit your faces with smiles, and trips to see her brought home stories of adventures and beautiful trinkets. I'll always see a strong, beautiful grandmother that helped shape and love Nakita and Brittany. I'm very sorry for the loss of a wonderful Grandmother and Mother. Cheers with coffee to a life well spent. I will always admire your strength, wisdom, kind-loving soul, humor, organization, fashion(dangling earrings, styled thick hair, long legs, nightgowns and all), taste for good food (oh the juicy cantaloupes and tomatoes), and of course your amazing company. I will cherish these memories for a lifetime.
