I worked with Gary at Bullfrog Basin on Lake Powell back in 1975 and 1976. He chose me to be his blasting attendant when we made the sewage lagoons at Hite, Utah. I will always fondly remember the long conversations we had while working or relaxing together. I'm thankful I had the chance to know him in this life.

I am so, so sorry for your loss. I worked with Gary at Mesa Verde. He was such an interesting man to talk to, so full of knowledge. So proud of his family. He had such a dry sense of humor and an amusing memory about him was when I learned of his "Pout House" and I have smiled many times when that crosses my mind. Again, please accept my condolences, I am so sorry.

I met Mrs. Gasaway at Rose Hill. I didn't get a chance to offer my condolences. My heart broke when I saw your family leave the hospital in tears. I am so sorry for your family's loss. It sounds like Gary was a pretty amazing man.
